Postmodernism

What does it mean to be human? How do human beings fit in this vast cosmos? Where to from here? This and more questions gained power at the end of the century leading to a new era of thinking. The postmodenism.
To undestand postmodernism we must first know the oringins of this, the modernism. In this time, the "great minds" began to disbelieve in the authority of the Judeo-Christian God as the basis for the truth and the law that undergird society and culture; the man and his rational abilities to create a new social and intellectual framework were the new authority.

Postmodernism is a movement away from the viewpoint of modernism. More specifically it is a tendency in contemporary culture characterized by the problem of objective truth.Postmodernism is a movement away from the viewpoint of modernism.
